2019 was a record-breaking year for black women in pageantry. For the first time in our history, nationally-recognized pageants crowned black women as titleholders.

Kaliegh Garris (Miss Teen USA), Cheslie Kryst (Miss USA), Nia Franklin (Miss America), Zozibini Tunzi (Miss Universe), and Toni-Ann Singh (Miss World 2019) have received an overwhelming amount of media recognition for their historic win.

But the list of black pageant winners doesn’t end there. There are pageants for corporate professionals and entrepreneurs that are celebrating the accomplishments of women between the ages of 21 and 65.

On June 22nd, 2019, Catherine Clark was crowned Ms. Corporate America 2019in a pageant held in Orlando, Fl.

It is my absolute privilege and honor to serve as Ms. Corporate America 2019. The journey has just begun.

The Ms. Corporate America pageant experience consists of three days of networking, education, and skill development. The final day of pageant weekend commences with the mainstage competition that focuses on formal wear (30%), fitness wear (20%) and on-stage Q&A (10%). Because communication skills are the foundation of what it takes to win the title of Ms. Corporate America, the interview portion of the competition accounts for 40% of the total score.
