Why Pursue the Real Estate Exam
A real estate license gives you access to one of the oldest wealth-building tools around town.
The best part about being in the real estate space is that there are always opportunities.
No matter what is going on in the economy, there is always someone looking to buy a home, sell a home, invest inproperties, and do all sorts of things in the marketplace.
If you are an introvert and don’t want to work in a “sales” role as a real estate agent, don’t worry. There are other ways you can fit into the real estate space. When you pass your exam, you can get a sponsor and become a referral agent. That means you get paid to refer other people to licensed real estate agents.
Opportunities are everywhere! You just have to be ready to receive them when they come your way.

I’m very unfamiliar with real estate so I don’t know if its something I’d like to add as an extra stream of income. If I took the exam would I have to sell real estate? How would I find my clients or target market? Or would I have to be connected to a broker to do so? How much work would I have to put in? I guess I’m really trying to find out would this be more like a job, would I be able to do real estate and still live life on my own terms? Do I need to take the exam to invest in real estate?
Great questions! No you can always become a referral agent and refer people to other licensed agents. I’m a referral agent in Illinois. There are so many opportunities to profit from real estate. If you want to be a licensed agent, you would have to work under a sponsor/managing broker who will guide you through the training process.
So many questions lol
You are on top of it! Great questions! Love it!!
