How to Obtain Facebook Scholarship
I completed the online application today and it’s really simple. If you have five minutes, you should be able to finish your application with ease. I was able to get approved immediately so I’ll share my process and keep adding more information as I progress through the curriculum.
Go to the Facebook Elevate Scholarship Application to get started. To apply for this scholarship, you must self-identify as Black. You must also reside in the United States.
First, you should read the frequently asked questions to get a better idea of what to expect. Read the general questions, eligibility requirements, and certification insights.
Then, get ready for the application. Don’t worry. It’s quick and simple. Input your personal information such as your name, email, city, and zip code. Next, answer a few questions about your status and how the scholarship will help you. That’s pretty much it. After you’ve reviewed the terms and conditions, then press submit. You’re on your way to unlocking the Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate Exam. Woohoo!
What You Should Know
After you’re approved for the scholarship, you will receive a voucher. You can use that voucher to cover the cost of your exam. If you’re in the United States, the regular price of the exam is $99.
Claim your voucher code and then schedule your exam through PearsonVue. You may have to update your profile information before you can access all the sections on the site. Once you’re good to go, you can review the exam preparation videos to learn more about the online examination process.
Set aside ample time to review the resources and complete the exam. The Elevate Learning page outlines courses you can take every week to prepare you for the exam. The voucher is good for 90 days from the date you claim it.
