ORLANDO, FL – March 30, 2025 — The spotlight was on success, service, and sisterhood this past Saturday as the Ms. Florida Corporate America 2025 winners were officially announced at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando.

Among the standout participants, Jessica Ann Nelson of Bartow took home the top title of Ms. Florida Corporate America 2025 on March 29, earning accolades not only for her poise and purpose but also for her dedication to community and career.

Jessica was also honored with the Pageantry Spirit Award and the “You’re Hired” Best Interview Award, setting her apart as a woman of vision, voice, and vibrant energy. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Maurita Sutton-Brown, Ms. Florida Corporate America 2023–2024, in a heartfelt ceremony that honored legacy and leadership.

This year, 10 women were nominated to compete for the state title. Candidates were chosen based on their professional experience, leadership abilities, and record of community involvement. Eligibility required participants to be between the ages of 30 and 65, with at least five years of professional experience and a minimum of two years dedicated to community service.

The competition featured multiple areas of assessment including panel interviews, on-stage pitch presentations, and evening wear, all crafted to spotlight each woman’s business acumen, authenticity, and commitment to making an impact.

The evening was hosted by Philomena Moncoeur, Florida State President of the Ms. Corporate America Organization. A powerhouse in the advertising world for more than 20 years, Philomena has been the creative force behind business growth for a wide range of professionals, from attorneys and doctors to keynote speakers and national firms. Known as the “entrepreneur’s cheerleader,” she brought warmth, wisdom, and wit to this year’s competition.

Emcee Kim C. Shaw lit up the evening with humor and charisma, helping to create a celebratory environment for contestants and guests alike. Special attendees included Anissa King-Paul, Founder of the Ms. Corporate America Organization; Shawn Fair, partner and executive leadership coach; Dr. Marcea Burnette Whitaker, the competition’s Lead Life Coach; and a host of former titleholders who continue to lead in their respective industries.

Jessica’s coronation marks a new chapter not only in her personal journey, but in the ongoing mission of the Ms. Corporate America Organization: to honor, uplift, and empower professional women across the nation. She will now go on to represent Florida on the national stage at the competition taking place June 19–21, 2025, at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
